Osogbo Fashion & Garment Week 2024 – Press Briefing For Saturday 6 July 2024 @ Heritage Gallery, Heritage Hotel, Ogoluwa, Osogbo
Main Event is Osogbo Fashion & Garment Week, scheduled for 30 November 2024 in Osogbo, Osun State.
Event showcases fashion design innovations, vision, ingenuity and skills of talented young designers, garment makers, jewellers, make-up artists, models and other technicians in the Osogbo fashion eco-chain.
Over 40 designers, garment makers and others in the respective fields applied to participate.
There will be an Award of Osogbo Designer of the Year on the Main Event Day, 30 November 2024.
Awards will also be given to the following categories of attendants:
- Best Dressed Individual
- Best Dress Couple
- Best Dressed Group of 4
Documentary narrating the individual and collective journeys of the participants is also being produced.
At 10am, Saturday 6 July 2024, at Heritage Gallery, Heritage Hotel, Ogoluwa, Osogbo, designers meet with models to take measurements. Designs for the final Event would be based on these measurements. Documentary will follow the designers to market, to their respective studio until the final Event day Fashion Presentation.
